Clifton Classic Chassis Auto Museum

Clifton Classic Chassis Auto Museum is a 22,000 sq. ft. classic auto museum, featuring 35 cars from the 1940s through 1980s. There are Corvettes, Thunderbirds, Buicks, Pontiacs, Chryslers, as well as vintage scooters.

Besides autos, you will visit the Clifton Memories Room which has Clifton/Bosque County memorabilia from the 1950s through 1970s.

Also inside the auto museum you will visit the newly added “Golden Age Gallery of Art & Artifacts.” You will see a wide variety of modern art, classic Spanish & Mexican oil paintings dating back to the 1700s, modern paintings by Clifton and Bosque County artists, and most notably a rare collection of artifacts dating back to the Olmec, Aztec, and Mayan eras.

Vintage Car Museum

The trio of Vintage Car Museum, Event Center, and Grill is a love affair for Tom & Therese Moncrief. The two of them have held a candle for one another for quite some time now.

The museum houses many of Moncrief’s own cars and also a rotating collection of one-of-a-kind classic automobiles.

Lyon Air Museum

Founded by Major General William Lyon, Lyon Air Museum is located on the west side of John Wayne Airport in Orange County, California. Lyon Air Museum is collocated with Martin Aviation, an award-winning jet, turbo-prop, and piston-powered aircraft repair facility established in 1923 by famed aviation pioneer Eddie Martin.

The Lyon Air Museum exhibits are comprised of authentic aircraft, rare vehicles, and related memorabilia, with emphasis on the defining event of the 20th century – World War II. Through captivating and thought-provoking exhibits based on historical scholarship, visitors gain a better understanding of the important role the United States plays in shaping world history.

U.S. Veterans Memorial Museum

The Alabama Center of Military History Inc., which operates The U.S. Veterans Memorial Museum, is a non-profit, tax exempt (501c3) educational institution for the purpose of historical preservation, public display, and public education. The museum is dedicated to promoting and disseminating the accomplishments of American military men and women. Our emphasis is on participants of World War I and subsequent conflicts, whose survivors and families can use the museum facilities to reminisce on their own experiences and those of parents, grandparents, and other close relatives. The museum has been designated by the Alabama House of Representatives as the State of Alabama Veterans Memorial Museum. The U.S. Veterans Memorial Museum displays more than 30 historical military vehicles from World War I to the present, as well as tableaus, artifacts, and other memorabilia dating back to the Revolutionary War.

Dougherty Museum

The Dougherty Museum houses a collection of beautifully restored antique automobiles, including models powered by steam, electricity, and early internal combustion types. Many of the cars date back 100 years and are in running order.

The Dougherty Museum is the culmination of a lifelong personal hobby of Ray G. Dougherty, a longtime Boulder County farmer. The Dougherty family opened the museum’s doors in 1977, and they have continued to run the museum since Mr. Dougherty’s death in 1988.
