National Corvette Museum

The National Corvette Museum is America’s Sports Car… an exciting legend produced only in Bowling Green, Kentucky. The Museum features over 80 Corvettes in periodic settings, including mint classics, one-of-a-kind prototypes, and modern-day wonders of engineering and design.

Test your knowledge at interactive trivia kiosks, and don’t miss the chance to try a Corvette on for size in the lobby, where they have a 2015 Stingray waiting for you. Displays continually rotate, so no two visits are the same.

Round out your visit with a souvenir from the Corvette Store, grab a bite to eat in the Corvette Cafe, and race over to the NCM Motorsports Park to spectate or take a lap!

Miles Through Time Automotive Museum

Miles Through Time Automotive Museum has over 100 years of must-see automotive history on display.  This unique, co-op-style museum is located inside of Vintage Garage Antiques which is in an old textile mill called the Old Clarkesville Mill in Clarkesville, GA.

Displays and automobiles are on temporary or permanent display or stored by their owners. Some of the exhibits have also been donated to the museum, like the 1958 Studebaker Golden Hawk and Ford Ghia Arioso concept car. Exhibits change often, so there is always something new to see!

Miles Through Time Automotive Museum was founded by Sean Mathis in 2017 with only one car he inherited which is the 1959 Cadillac Coupe De Ville on display. Now the museum has over 100 vehicles on display spread out across 4 distinct galleries. There are also over 5,000 model cars on display and more.

Martin Auto Museum

Created in 2005, the Martin Auto Museum is the brainchild of owner and founder Mel Martin. Mel saw a need to share a collection of vehicles that represent significant periods in automotive history.

After 12 years of operation, Mel had more vehicles in storage than he did in the museum! It was time to move to a bigger building. In March of 2022, the new and improved Martin Auto Museum and Event Center opened on the northwest corner of 43rd Avenue and Thunderbird Road.

The museum features over 140 vehicles, including classic cars, hot rods, customs, imports, and much more.

It also has one of the largest collections of auto memorabilia, antique gas pumps, and signage anywhere.

Kids can enjoy the carousel or our variety of driving and racing games.

Barber Vintage Motorsports Museum

With its creative architecture and great attention to detail, Barber Vintage Motorsports Museum is home to over 1,400 motorcycles that span over 100 years of production. More than 650 bikes can be seen on any given day, and 200 different manufacturers from 20 countries are represented in the collection—from Harley-Davidson, Honda, and Indian—to Showa, DSK, and Cagiva.

In his passion for motorcycles, George Barber’s love of cars has remained powerful. The museum features the world’s most extensive Lotus collection, anchored by the Lotus 21. The museum also displays rare race cars, including the 1964 Ferrari F-158, in which John Surtees won the 1964 Formula 1 Driver’s World Championship.

In April 2014, Barber was officially recognized by Guinness World Records as being the world’s largest motorcycle collection.

DFW Elite Toy Museum

DFW Elite Toy Museum

The DFW Elite Toy Museum is the brainchild of businessman Ron Sturgeon who first started collecting automobile memorabilia over 40 years ago. Ron initially focused on Mercedes toys and then moved on to rare and vintage automobile-themed items such as race cars and scale models. As the years progressed, Ron’s interests expanded to include vintage toys, unique signs, and other rare and historic collectibles. Eventually, the personal collection was so expansive that the idea for the DFW Elite Toy Museum was born.

Today, the DFW Elite Toy Museum has more than 3,000 unique pieces in its collection. Automobile enthusiasts will appreciate the impressive collection of Tippco die-cast toys along with a wide array of early tin, wind-up, pressed steel, and other collectibles — including the very rare Eva Braun Mercedes toy. Dog lovers might be interested to hear that the museum is a “dog-friendly” space and currently features an exhibition entitled “Dogs in Art, Toys and Antique” which includes iconic dog-themed paintings and other dog-related memorabilia from around the globe.

The museum has expanded to include Ron’s personal collection of classic foreign cars and modern supercars. The cars include many oddball cars, but also a significant amount of VW’s including a Schwimmwagen and Mercedes, including a 6-door Mercedes 600 and a 300SL convertible, totaling over 125 cars. Interesting items include Kennie Bernstein’s winning funny car and top fuel dragster from 1996.

The museum director is Brian Sturgeon, Ron’s son, ask for him personally!
