Kansas Motorcycle Museum

It all starts with Stan ‘The Man’ Engdahl. Stan was a dirt track racing legend throughout the USA. Over 60 years of racing he held claim to more than 600 trophies, including 5 National Scramble Championships and 16 Kansas State Championships, all on his Harley Davidson K model motorcycle. Stan and LaVona were instrumental in opening the Kansas Motorcycle Museum in the spring of 2003. They actively promoted the motorcycle industry, through their volunteer work at the Museum. They generously donated over 1,400 hours a year as the Museum curators and tour guides. Engdahl’s great storytelling ability, motorcycle knowledge, and his passion for racing have been shared and enjoyed by tens of thousands of visitors. Tourists and motorcycle enthusiasts alike have come from every state in the nation as well as many foreign countries, including the Netherlands, Germany, Iraq, Canada, Great Britain, Russia, Australia, and Sweden to visit this unique museum in the heart of Kansas. 120 N Washington St, Marquette, KS 67464 P: 785-546-2449 E: kmm2449@yahoo.com

Haas Moto Museum

The sheer expanse of The Haas Collection, with over 230 motorcycles spanning 13 decades, housed in the Museum and the adjacent Dragon Gallery, is a joyous revival of a cultural phenomenon that continues to evolve to this day.  From the time when a crude gas tank was first strapped onto a bicycle frame to the creation of radical new designs that push the outer limits of the imagination, The Haas Collection has no equal anywhere, with its seemingly endless array of truly unique motorcycles embedded in two venues of unparalleled beauty.

Not only does the Collection immerse you in the evolution of motorcycles from 1899 to the present day, it also unveils an unparalleled collection of over 60 custom motorcycles—a dazzling testament to the Renaissance notion of inventors creating art for the sake of art, with no blueprint or predecessor to guide their hands.

Buddy Stubbs Motorcycle Museum

After a successful career as a Harley® racing legend and Hollywood stuntman, Buddy Stubbs opened the first Harley-Davidson® dealership in Phoenix in 1966. The dealership became the home of his extensive collection of vintage motorcycles, and the Historic Motorcycle Museum was born.

The collection spans the history of Harley-Davidson® and also features rare models from AJS, BMW, BSA, Triumph®, Zundapp, Indian Motorcycle®, and more.

From the earliest examples of street bikes to racing bikes from the ’30s, ’40s, and ’50s, the museum’s collection is the largest in the Southwest. Along with Harley-Davidson® bikes dating as far back as the original 1903 model, the museum also features a large selection of Triumph bikes spanning several decades. It’s an excellent collection showcasing the development of touring bikes in Europe during the period when Harley-Davidson® ruled America.

If you’re in Phoenix, make sure to check out the Buddy Stubbs Historic Motorcycle Museum. It’s the perfect place to bring the kids and spend the day learning about the history of two-wheeled transportation!
