The California Automobile Museum offers plenty of opportunities for you to visit. Located just a stone’s throw from the famous “Old Sacramento”, and neighbors to the up ‘n’ coming Broadway strip, this museum is like nothing you’ve ever seen.
This is a world-class display with over 120 cars under one roof. You will not find this arrangement of cars anywhere else as some of the cars are privately owned, museum owned, or hand-chosen to be on display.

The San Diego Automotive Museum located in beautiful Balboa Park offers a wonderful selection of vintage and classic American and European vehicles and motorcycles.
The original idea of creating an automotive museum in Balboa Park came from Briggs Cunningham, a renowned automobile collector, and racer. The idea circulated for many years until an inspired group of local automotive enthusiasts propelled the idea forward. In 1979, the San Diego City Council first considered the issue and in 1980 they gave unanimous approval to the museum and granted a long-term lease for one of the historic buildings in the jewel of San Diego: Balboa Park.
After spending approximately $1 million renovating and upgrading the building, the San Diego Automotive Museum opened in December of 1988. Since then, millions of local auto enthusiasts and tourists from all over the world have visited our world-class collection. Today the museum stands as a living tribute to the automobile and what it has meant to our culture.

The Richard W. Erickson Foundation keeps history alive in the town of Wallsburg, a small agricultural community historically known as Round Valley nestled in the mountains of the Wasatch Front. Wallsburg is four miles southeast of Deer Creek Reservoir and 30 minutes south of Heber City.
The Foundation’s Antique & Classic Power Museum houses a rare and unique collection of classic and vintage automobiles, over 150 motorcycles, 200 plus tractors dating back to the early nineteen hundreds, and a pioneer village complete with log cabins and a church.
It is a must-see collection rivaling any museums in Park City, Heber, or the Wasatch Front. Today the museum keeps history alive by preserving and displaying examples of mechanical ingenuity associated with life in the early 1900s.
Richard and Rita Erickson started the Foundation in 1999 with a vision to preserve early American history in a way that would provide an educational and recreational experience for the community. The foundation’s museum houses one of the largest collections of antique and classic automobiles, motorcycles, farm implements, steam, and gas tractors along with Americana memorabilia. Plan your visit during the annual Antique and Classic Power Show or one of our crowd-pleasing music festivals. They do private tours by appointment only. The museum is a hidden gem and earns five stars as a premier Utah family activity.
