Mustang Museum of America

The Mustang Museum of America is dedicated to the celebration, preservation, education, and display of the Ford Mustang and will provide value to visitors from the general public, members of the Museum, and other automobile hobbyists.

The goal of the Mustang Museum is to provide a memorable visit through the life of the iconic Mustang with a display of Mustang vehicles of nearly every year and generation produced, many special models, and also display Mustang memorabilia relevant to its history.

Hopefully, the museum tour will bring back fond memories of Mustangs once owned by museum visitors, wish they had owned or “let getaway”.

Vintage Car Museum

The trio of Vintage Car Museum, Event Center, and Grill is a love affair for Tom & Therese Moncrief. The two of them have held a candle for one another for quite some time now.

The museum houses many of Moncrief’s own cars and also a rotating collection of one-of-a-kind classic automobiles.

Miles Through Time Automotive Museum

Miles Through Time Automotive Museum has over 100 years of must-see automotive history on display.  This unique, co-op-style museum is located inside of Vintage Garage Antiques which is in an old textile mill called the Old Clarkesville Mill in Clarkesville, GA.

Displays and automobiles are on temporary or permanent display or stored by their owners. Some of the exhibits have also been donated to the museum, like the 1958 Studebaker Golden Hawk and Ford Ghia Arioso concept car. Exhibits change often, so there is always something new to see!

Miles Through Time Automotive Museum was founded by Sean Mathis in 2017 with only one car he inherited which is the 1959 Cadillac Coupe De Ville on display.

South Carolina Military Museum

South Carolina Military Museum

The mission of the South Carolina Military Museum is to honor and chronicle the South Carolina citizen soldier and this State’s martial tradition from its colonial founding in 1670 to present-day operations worldwide. Featuring an impressive collection of artifacts, displays, and exhibits, the Museum tells the story of the South Carolina militia, its evolution into the National Guard, and its important role today as a reserve component and force multiplier for the United States Army and Air Force.

The South Carolina Military Museum possesses a vast array of authentic firearms, edged weapons, uniforms, ordnance, artillery pieces, and armored fighting vehicles that literally bring history to life. These include a Columbiad Cannon that once protected Charleston Harbor, an AH-64A Apache Cockpit and Weapons Trainer, and an H-13B “Sioux” Helicopter –  serial number one! Interspersed throughout are also such items as an M48A1 “Patton” Tank, an amphibious WWII German Schwimmwagen, one-of-a-kind Type II Blakely Rifled Cannons, an F-104 downward-firing ejection seat, and a rare collection of South Carolina swords/sabers

One can easily find pieces of the Palmetto State’s military history elsewhere. But only the South Carolina Military Museum offers genuine artifacts from every period in South Carolina history. From “new world” battles with the Spanish to hunting down Taliban in Afghanistan, the Museum honors all of South Carolina’s sons and daughters in uniform. Their history, after all, is our history and the South Carolina Military Museum is devoted to preserving this legacy for all generations.

The Ultimate Driving Museum

The Ultimate Driving Museum

The Ultimate Driving Museum, formally known as the BMW Car Club of America Foundation Museum is the philanthropic expression of the 70,000+ members of the BMW Car Club of America, corporate sponsors, and generous donors.

Together, they deliver high-level car-control training to thousands of teenage drivers each year, through the Tire Rack Street Survival Program. They also operate the largest BMW Museum & Archive in the Americas, directly next door to the BMW Performance Center in Greer, South Carolina.

The museum changes exhibits often so you’ll want to keep checking to see what is currently on display.  In the past, you could have seen the The Power of M: Celebrating 50 Years, Genesis Collection or the Z Car exhibit.
