The Hajek Motorsports Museum in Ames features the largest collection of vintage dragsters, including two Earnhardt cars, a Rusty Wallace car and one Bill Elliott car. All are championship vehicles in restored, track-ready condition just as of the day they were retired. Other racing memorabilia and uniforms are on display. Midwest Dream Car Collection began as the private collection of Ward and Brenda Morgan. Through their vision, passion, and generosity the museum opened to the public in the spring of 2019 and later became a 501c3 non-profit organization. There are over 65 cars on display ranging from 1907 to the present day, including custom cars, muscle cars, exotic cars, and classic cars.
