The Lampasas Auto Company Museum building was constructed in 1880, but served as a Ford dealership from 1917 to 1963. After that, it became a bowling alley, Western Auto, a Magnolia filling station, and a hardware store.
The founder is usually at the museum on weekends and is always glad to show the collection. The museum is mostly Ford or Ford-related vehicles. However, there are several others (Ferrari Dino prototype, Maserati Merak, Porsche 914, ‘59 Corvette fulie). The cars in the collection range from 1909 to 1979.
