Branson Auto & Farm Museum

Branson Auto and Farm Museum originally opened in May 2009 under the name Branson Auto Museum as a museum dedicated to the appreciation and preservation of historic automobiles.

In 2010, it was purchased by Mr. Maurice Wilder of Clearwater, Florida, a successful real estate and farm businessman. After he fell in love with a car at the museum and purchased it. Later, he purchased the entire museum! Ever since there has been no looking back.

The museum was completely rebuilt into a 90,000-square-foot building, with one half dedicated to classic & antique automotive history and the other half to farming implements and equipment history. Therefore the name was changed to The Branson Auto & Farm Museum.

Unlike most museums, most of the vehicles are actually for sale at Branson Auto and Farm Museum.

Route 66 Car Museum

Route 66 Car Museum

Route 66 Car Museum is a privately owned car collection that is located along the famed and historic Route 66. Guy Mace started collecting in 1990 when he bought his first Jaguar. The collection has since grown to 75 automobiles that “strikes a fancy.”

Ranging from early brass era cars to vehicles used in cinema such as the Gotham Roadster, this collection is sure to have a vehicle for every museum goer’s taste.

The museum houses seven Jaguars, two Rolls Royces, a 1963 Morgan owned by Desert Storm’s General Norman Schwarzkopf, and the famous truck from the movie ‘Grapes of Wrath’ that starred Henry Fonda.

Several very unique classic cars are on display. Of note is the 1936 Horch, one of about 50 that were sold to the German government in 1937 for use by the military’s General Officers. This Horch won second place in the 2014 Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance Prewar Preservation Class. It is 100 percent original, having been stored for over 50 years in South Dakota. Two other classics in the collection, the 1933 Auburn 12, and the 1926 Kissel Brougham, both National First Prize winners of the Antique Automobile Club of America (AACA), represent the pinnacle of 1920’s and 1930’s classics, along with several other unusual cars on display from that era.”
