Packard Proving Grounds Historic Site

The Packard Proving Grounds Historic Site is also on the National Register of Historic Places. Located in Shelby Township, Michigan, this is the original home of Packard. The site hosts a variety of car shows, events & weddings. PPG is also the site of a weekly farmer’s market in the summer months.
The Packard Proving Grounds Historic Site is one of only three auto museums in the country located on property owned by the auto manufacturer. PPG is also the only auto museum in the world located at the manufacturer’s proving grounds, listed on the National Register of Historic Places by the U.S. National Park Service.
