Museo Ferrari

Europe, Italy

The Museo Ferrari in Maranello was opened at the beginning of the 1990s, and focuses on Ferrari’s present and future, whilst remaining deeply rooted in the Prancing Horse’s extraordinary history. “Live the dream” is the motto which greets visitors, promising an engaging, unique experience.

The museum is divided into three areas by theme: the area dedicated to Formula 1 and the successes of a range of world champion drivers; the area dedicated to racing and road cars, updated on a yearly basis, with themed exhibitions which present the most significant cars in the brand’s history in a range of contexts which differ from one show to the next. The third area is the most interactive of the three, and is home to semi-professional Formula 1 simulators, two authentic single-seaters equipped for driving and dedicated to children and a Formula 1 car for visitors who want to take on a real tyre change. Guest can also drop into the Ferrari Store, the restaurant and the café, and finally, an important multi-purpose space for events, conventions and courses aimed at teens and adults, known as the Red Campus.

The museum is further enhanced by a Cinema Room with continuous projection of themed movies, as well as a highly-organized information office (IAT, Tourist Information Office) that can provide useful information to visitors who wish to discover the many opportunities ready to be enjoyed in the Maranello and Motor Valley area.
