This map shows which states have the highest density of automotive museums that can be visited by the public for each state. Only four states in the USA do not have any specific car museums that are open to the public.

The top three states with the most automotive museums are:

Michigan with 16

California with 15

North Carolina with 15

The three states without any automotive museums open to the public are Connecticut, Louisiana, and Hawaii.
